You Capture: Togetherness

Taking a photo of my kids together, let alone a portrait-y type shot is next to impossible.  They either get the giggles:


or get in each other's space in a pose like this, Julia's arm around Adam's neck.  That sometimes ends up with Adam upset because J's trying to get him to look in the right direction, and me trying get her to let go and put a little space between them.



But most of the time, the photo taking process goes something like this:

  1. While it's always nice to have siblings in a posed shot, I really like your final one better. It really shows their real relationship. Maybe not a Christmas card shot, but it's the one I'd want on my nightstand.

  7. Children's faces are so pure and open. What you see is what you get. They're not worried about their hair or which side of their face is better. They just are. Your children are beautiful Lynn and so are their pictures.
