mosaic mania

Winter have you down?  Join us at the trainstation as we work on mosaic panels that will be put up at The Bottleworks Art Center.





Oh!  Those golden tile pieces that we're working on are so warm and cheery!  And the thought of tulips---oh my!  Contrary to the looks on their faces in these photos, the kids loved smearing the grout on the tile pieces and sticking them down.  They wanted to stay long after time was up, so we'll definitely be going back.  There are about 100 panels to work on, and probably less than half are done, so work will go on for a few more weeks.

See the little star?  That's where the one we're working on will be.  :o)

    Love mosaic! Have never tried to make one. At least not yet. It's on my Bucket List. I hope you'll keep us posted on how the work on the wall is going. I can't wait to see what it looks like when it's completed.
