Pull up a chair? Bickie? Beverage? I'm so glad you've stopped by. I hope you enjoy your stay. This little space celebrates the idea that the little things, the everyday things, are worth recording. It has comfortably settled itself into a blog about the everyday after I started a 365 Day photo challenge September of 2009 on Facebook. After beginning to blog, I transfered many of the photos here, where I have continued this daily challenge. My life is really not that interesting, but as I've looked for something to photograph each day, I've been able to find fun, joyful, meaningful things in the daily events that happen for all of us. It's fun keeping my eye open for little things that I never noticed were even worthy of record before. There is so much beauty out there if we keep an eye open to it.

Gee Lynn, if I didn't know any better I'd swear you were in our back yard taking photos. Although your snow doesn't look as heavy and wet as ours was. We were w/out power for Sat. p.m. until Sunday p.m. Others around us were still out until Wednesday. We're getting a generator so this does not happen again. Some time I will have to tell you about I single handedly handled Irene! That was a night I hope I NEVER have to repeat!
