beautiful! I tried and tried to get a good picture of raindrops on branches, but my poor point-and-shoot did not appreciate the raindrops falling on it. :-P
What an interesting composition of images, themes. Guess that it is indeed the liquide of life, that falls down from above, making nature and us grow, bridging past and future. Please have you all a wonderful start into the new week.
Jenna, I know what you mean about taking pictures in the rain. I see the amazing things that people do, while it's raining, and I wonder how they keep their camera from getting ruined. These were done after the rain had passed, while we were walking to pick up our van, which was in the shop. Husband says to make a little cover with a plastic bag for my camera, but I think I'll wait and get a real waterproof cover--I know they exist.
Robert: I should just hire you to write the captions for my photos, sir! Beautifully said.
Pull up a chair? Bickie? Beverage? I'm so glad you've stopped by. I hope you enjoy your stay. This little space celebrates the idea that the little things, the everyday things, are worth recording. It has comfortably settled itself into a blog about the everyday after I started a 365 Day photo challenge September of 2009 on Facebook. After beginning to blog, I transfered many of the photos here, where I have continued this daily challenge. My life is really not that interesting, but as I've looked for something to photograph each day, I've been able to find fun, joyful, meaningful things in the daily events that happen for all of us. It's fun keeping my eye open for little things that I never noticed were even worthy of record before. There is so much beauty out there if we keep an eye open to it.
