At which point, my mii trips and falls flat on her face.

So. This morning, I come downstairs and whilst walking into the living room I hear...
drip...drip...drip
Aw Jeez.
Yup. Ice damage. I can't believe I'm about to say this, but for once I'm glad that we DON'T have window trim in our living room, because it would have potentially been worse. And it's not coming in through the window seal, which is also good. But still. What a mess.

And here's some of the ice:
A piece from a huge icicle. The rest of it is still on the house. It was too huge to take off without potentially doing more damage. Not to mention that it was attached too strongly for hubs to knock it down.
So, guess who's calling the insurance company tomorrow morning. Joy. But when I think of how bad it could have been, I'm grateful. Really.
The photo that I was going to set up and take today is put on hold until tomorrow. This obviously trumped!
Have a good evening, all.

Oh my God, look at that ice!
It's always something, huh?
ok so here I sit in the 100deg heat wishing for a winter with snow, how romantic, how beautiful, and really I have no idea do I?! Never even heard of ice damage. and an icicle that big you gotta be kidding me, wow!!! Maybe snow isn't as sweet as I think it would be.!!
That's a huge icicle. Thank goodness it didn't fall on a person!
That is horrible! Good luck!
Oh my gosh! That's an absolutely enormous icicle!
Maureen: Yup, Found another leak today over the door. Dripped on a friend's head. Niiice.
Kim: Usually it IS kind of nice and can be romantic and fun. Just not this much of it all at once!
Suzicate: No kidding. It was on the side of the house where nobody goes, which was nice. Still.
Charlotte: Thanks. Just a bit 'o drama. Gave me a photo op, so something positive came out of it. And the kids have had a ball with the downed icicles.
Relyn: I know. Hubs is beside himself. :oP
