Day 116: Home again

The nice thing about going away is there are things everywhere to take pictures of.  We're home now, and it's nice to be back, I'm quickly running out of inspiration for daily photos!  EEP!

But a friend of mine gave Julia a dress, so here's a detail of it:

And here are some flowers we made one day before Christmas.  We were watching the Goodnight Show, and this was the craft.  So we made one.  And that was so fun that we made a whole bouquet!  We're not quite sure what to do with them now, so they're in a vase in the dining room, where they will probably stay  How long should we keep them?

So, how long do YOU keep children's craft projects?  How do you dispose of them--especially the cute ones--painlessly?  Most of the projects we do I'm good to get rid of after awhile.  But I just love these flowers. They're  going to get dusty and faded and old, though, and they're not really storable.  So what to do?  It makes me sad to think about tossing them.  So I won't right now!  I'll just sit and enjoy their bright summertime colours that help keep out the chill.

Someone once gave me the idea to take photos of some of these projects instead of keeping them all. I think it's a pretty good idea for lots of them, especially the papery kind.

That's a good idea, Maureen. It's just that I like to touch them...sigh. But yes, that's definitely a more than viable option. :)

Constance: Hey! Thanks for stopping by!

Kathryn: AW--you guys are spoiling me with your compliments!
