Day 120: Paparazzi Photo

We had a bit of a VIP deign to stop a bit amongst the rabble.  He had a snack then signed a few autographs before moving on to his next appearance.

we have these same woodpeckers....wilma and wody...and I love them so much...but OH they can do damage if they decide to get up close and personal...which they did to the side of our cottage !

Beth: Fortunately, although we've seem them occasionally in the maple trees, we've never had a problem. Knock on...uh..wood? Erm...

Robert: I'm glad you like it! I'd love to see the critters that you have in Greece, though. probably very different from here!

Joyce: Thanks! I wish I had a longer lens. This one, although fairly long, is a cheap, non image stabilizer one. Which I used then cropped the shot. Bleh. Loses a bit of clarity. But ah well--one does what one can!

Maureen: I know! I wanted to pass him a pair of shades! hehe

la ninja: I'm pretty surprised at how it turned out, myself. I took it from my kitchen window with my long kit lens and no image stabilizer on the lens--I had my arm resting on the kitchen faucet to keep it still. Pretty high tech! I had to tweak the sharpness a bit, but the light must have been perfect, because it turned out better than expected.
