While sitting at J's school Fun Days, I took these. Lovin' how to fudge the CV today. HA!
OK. Here's a kid--unrecognizable--doing a relay. I just noticed his Beach Bum shirt. Apt for this particular race, I must say.
Julia sack racin' it.
I was recruited to help facepaint, since there was only one parent there and umpteen-zillion kids waiting. I'm not artist. No, really. When I was teaching, I had the kids, including the Kindergarten classes, draw anything that needed to be drawn on the board. My drawings were pathetic. But I digress. So. ahem. I did the kids (see J above). that would be a ROCKET SHIP on his cheek. And I was using a simple drawing that was kindly provided as a guide. It still looks like, well, definitely not a rocket ship. But A didn't care.
After I did Adam's face, he did mine. I can't believe I'm posting this. I also can't believe I went out in public like this. Sans makeup. Sans hair fixed. Yup. This is pretty much what I look like when I get up in the morning (I think I had a shower. I can't remember for sure. It has been a blur of a day. I know I didn't do anything with my hair. Did I comb it? Hmn...). OK. So I put on a quick lip gloss. Other than that...it's all real, people.
Except the paint. That's not too real. At all.
Off have a seat over at Jane's to check out other CVs. I'll bet she has a really comfy chair.
Nighter.

Adam's face is adorable, and I see a future in cosmetics ahead of him.
