While it may only be a weed, it's still a beautiful weed. It's one of my favorites. And if you'd like to show your kids how cool you are cut a stem or two of the lace, put them in a glass with a few drops of food coloring. In a few hours the lace will turn the color of the food coloring. A whole field next year, I'd have no problem with that!
Pull up a chair? Bickie? Beverage? I'm so glad you've stopped by. I hope you enjoy your stay. This little space celebrates the idea that the little things, the everyday things, are worth recording. It has comfortably settled itself into a blog about the everyday after I started a 365 Day photo challenge September of 2009 on Facebook. After beginning to blog, I transfered many of the photos here, where I have continued this daily challenge. My life is really not that interesting, but as I've looked for something to photograph each day, I've been able to find fun, joyful, meaningful things in the daily events that happen for all of us. It's fun keeping my eye open for little things that I never noticed were even worthy of record before. There is so much beauty out there if we keep an eye open to it.

As fragile as it is, give it a chance, maybe within a seperated place. Does it have blossoms?
I love how you can see the flowers so clearly with trees unfocused in the background. Macro (or is it called micro?) images are some of my favorites.

It's still a beautiful shot, though.
