Day 256: Corner View: End of my street

hehe.  Here's what's going on at one end of the street:

Yes indeedy.  Construction.

But now let's look to the other end of the street.  It's way more pleasing!

We're near one of many entranaces into this beautiful park and nature trails.  Lots of my photos are taken here.

And because even little weeds are sweet:

I love my street!

Now I think I'll take a little walk down Jane's street and see what kind of block party is going on down there!  Come along, won't you?  There might be a barbeque...  :o)

What a joy it must be to be allowed to live that close to such an oasis of green hope.
Very interesting indeed to see the writing on the sign, made me a bit wonder about my vocabulary.
Please have a nice Friday.

Otli: Yes--it certainly feels like that sometimes!

Suzicate: Me too. When I think about moving someday, or when I think about what a wreck our house is, I think about leaving this street with the park right there just feet from our doorstep, and I count my blessings!

Robert: I know--isn't is strange? It just means that you can't drive your car through (thru)the next block, since the cross street is closed due to construction. Traffic that wants to go through the next cross street is called thru (through) traffic. I never thought about how it must look to someone outside of NA before! You always make me see things that I never would have before. :o)
